Garden Apartment

Garden Apartment lounge viewWelcome to the Garden Apartment…

The property has been recently renovated by the owners who live on site. The apartment, as the name suggests, looks out on the garden area where, depending on the season, you will be able to go and get some oranges to make some juice for your breakfast or a lemon for your gin and tonic. Perhaps you would prefer to collect some fresh produce from the vegetable patch or an egg or two from the hen house.

The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a good standard throughout and has 2 bedrooms, one is a double room and the other is a twin room. They both have air conditioning for those warm summer nights so that you can get a good nights rest. For those that prefer more natural cooling, there is also a fan in each room.  Although you will probably be relaxing outside for the majority of your time, the lounge has a comfortable sofa and chairs. Here there is also a TV, DVD and hi-fi including I-pod connection. We have also provided guide books for you to browse in order to plan your days out as well as a selection of holiday reading fiction.a view of the Garden Apartment kitchen

The kitchen has full size appliances including fridge freezer and dishwasher. Perhaps slaving over a hot stove isn’t your idea of holiday heaven but in case it is, we have provided a full size oven and hob. In the cupboards you will find a good selection of crockery, cutlery and pots and pans to create and serve whatever the chef decides. For those lazy mornings there is a coffee machine in order to make the perfect brew as well as a water cooler for when the heat gets too much.

In the bathroom you will find the attention to detail continues with modern fittings throughout. We supply towels as well as pool towels so that you have a little bit more space in your suitcase for more important things like sun glasses or flip flops. You can browse our gallery to find more photos of the Garden Apartment as well as the surrounding area.

By now you may have read enough and just want to book the apartment. If this is the case then go to our Bookings page or use our Contact Us page if you have a question or query you want the answer to.

Other Things You May Want to Know

Most of the visitors that have stayed in the Garden Apartment have come for a quiet, ‘recharge your batteries’ type of holiday – you can read what they said on our Visitor Comments page. There are a selection of local tavernas around that visitors go to for a meal out. The barbecue down in the gazebo also gets used for al fresco dining but if you prefer you can wheel it to your own terrace area. For those that stay a little longer there is a washing machine in the garage area that is available for you to use. Washing only takes an hour or so to dry during the summer so for those that can, travelling light is quite feasible.

a map showing the location of Cyprus Country HolidaysBecause we are located in a very quiet, rural area of Cyprus, car rental is strongly recommended to take full advantage of your time in Cyprus. You can see from the map that we are centrally placed – within 30 to 40 minutes drive you can get to Limassol, Nicosia or Larnaca if you want a break from the peace and quiet, with Paphos being just over an hour away. Our aim while you are here is to be on hand if you want us but leave you to your own devices if you prefer.

If you want to get the dates that suit you then booking early is always advisable – there is no need to pay the full amount as we just require a deposit to confirm the booking. Go to our Bookings page to get the ball rolling and we will pencil you in the diary while you organise flights etc. Another advantage in booking early is that it usually lets you get a cheaper flight price!

We had a lovely time here with Neal, Shane and the cats. It felt like were coming home each day, and Neal and Shane couldn’t have been more friendly or welcoming. The Garden Flat is great, setting a standard of furnishing and equipment that we’ll never meet when we go home, to our children’s disappointment.

We found lots to do, mixing historical sites with beaches; we particularly liked Kourion beach with great waves, nice restaurant/cafe and no hotels in sight.

Lots of nice places to eat; Adamos and Tasties (great crepes) in Lefkara, Platanos in Kato Drys and the Rainbow Cafe in Choirokitia who were very friendly.

It’s been a great place to relax, with fantastic pool, great barbecue and friendly hosts.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. We are glad you had a good time – we are always happy when other people enjoy the place as much as we do. You certainly packed a lot into the week you were with us – we are centrally placed so you can get to almost anywhere on the island within an hour or so. Kourion beach gets lots of votes and we are fans of Tasties too.

Maybe see you over here again some time…
