We have written these pages in the hope that you will be able to find out what you may want to do while in Cyprus as well as give plenty of background information aimed at anyone wishing to explore. After spending several years living in Cyprus we found we ended up taking visitors to the same restaurants or tourist sites time after time. We thought we should jot down our thoughts on each of these places so that you can get a flavour of what Cyprus has to offer as well as make us explore a bit further afield.
If you are visiting for a 2 week holiday or you live year round in Cyprus our aim is for you to be able to find something or somewhere that will interest you. If you know what region you want to look around jump straight to the Limassol, Nicosia, Troodos, Larnaca or Pafos area pages to find what restaurants, shops or places of interest have been picked out. You can also find out what the weather will be like in Cyprus month by month so that you know when the best time of year is to visit.
To many, Cyprus is blue sky, sunshine and beaches and during the long Summer months it scores top marks on all counts. But there is another side to the land of Aphrodite; visitors from ancient times have left their mark for modern visitors to explore, remote mountain villages offer a glimpse of real Cyprus life and nature lovers can marvel at the spring flower explosion.
Whatever ‘floats your boat’ we hope you will find a page of interest and you will be motivated to go out and explore. If you find somewhere that you think people would be interested in please let us know so that we can visit it ourselves and share the information with others – firstname.lastname@example.org, use our contact form or leave a reply below.
